The Linen Edit

Lookbook

High summer is where linen earns its keep. It stays cool, it moves, and it looks better a little crumpled than pressed flat. Here is how we are wearing it through the warmest weeks.

One shirt, worn open

A band-collar linen shirt is the piece we reach for most in July. Worn buttoned with trousers it reads as quietly put-together; left open over a tee it becomes a light layer for cooler evenings. The Douro Band-Collar Linen Shirt is cut with a little ease on purpose, so it never clings on a warm day.

Trousers that move

Wide, high-rise linen trousers are the easiest way to stay cool without giving up shape. Paired with the shirt tucked loosely, or with a simple tee, the Aegean Mid-Rise Linen Wide-Leg Trousers carry from a morning walk to dinner without a change.

The best summer outfit is the one you stop thinking about by ten in the morning.

The pieces

Everything here shares the same muted palette, so the pieces layer without any thought. Linen creases as the day goes on. We have made our peace with that, and we think you will too.
