Made slowly, in Lisbon.
Stilo is a small slow-fashion label. We design and sew a few considered collections each year, from natural fabrics chosen to last, in a quiet palette meant to stay with you.
How we began
Stilo started with a simple frustration: wardrobes full of clothes, and still nothing that felt right. We wanted to make fewer things, and to make them well — pieces you reach for again and again, not ones you replace each season.
So we kept it small. A short line of essentials, designed in Lisbon and made a short walk away, where we can see each piece through from sketch to finish.
The fabrics we choose
We work with natural fibres: linen and organic cotton woven in northern Portugal, merino and wool blends for the colder months. We choose them for how they wear over years, not only how they look on the first day.
Natural cloth ages honestly. Linen softens, cotton relaxes, wool holds its warmth. Our pieces are cut with a little ease so they settle into the shape of the person wearing them.

The Alcântara atelier
Every Stilo piece is sewn in a small atelier in the Alcântara district of Lisbon. Keeping the making close means a sample can be adjusted the same week it is cut, and problems are solved in the room rather than over long email chains.
We produce in small runs. It keeps the quality where we want it, and means we are not left with mountains of unsold stock at the end of a season.

What slow fashion means to us
It is not a slogan. It is simply how the atelier runs: fewer, better pieces, made from honest materials, meant to be worn for years and mended rather than replaced. If a garment stays with you, we have done our job.
